Implement data governance with interfaces

Traditionally, data governance has been implemented using people and processes.

You establish standards. Define roles. Encourage greater communication.

But this is time consuming and expensive (both for you and the business), and needs constant attention to maintain.

But this is changing, and data governance is now being implemented using interfaces.

These interfaces implement the standards.

They clearly assign ownership and responsibility.

They necessitate the right communication at the right time.

All of which leads to a better outcome, at reduced cost.
