Data Contracts are about setting expectations

·1 min

Data Contracts are about setting expectations, including:

  • How the data is structured, and how that can or cannot change
  • Who owns the data, and the support they are providing
  • When the data is updated, and how complete it is

And so on.

It’s the setting of expectations that allow consumers to build on that data with confidence.

Want great, practical advice on implementing data mesh, data products and data contracts?

In my weekly newsletter I share with you an original post and links to what's new and cool in the world of data mesh, data products, and data contracts.

I also include a little pun, because why not? 😅
