A contract-based data platform - new post on Medium

·1 min

Over on Medium I’ve published a post about a contract-based data platform, which is an updated version of my post to this newsletter back in December.

The more I think about where data contracts are most useful, and how best to implement them, the more I think it might be at the platform layer.

Because, it turns out that how a platform is designed is a great way to guide users down the path you want them to take.

It’s also a great place to give something back to the users, by providing the tools they need to get their job done as quickly and as easily as possible by reducing their cognitive load.

Check out the post on Medium here.

Want great, practical advice on implementing data mesh, data products and data contracts?

In my weekly newsletter I share with you an original post and links to what's new and cool in the world of data mesh, data products, and data contracts.

I also include a little pun, because why not? 😅
