It's not the tools you have faith in, it's the people

I came across this Steve Jobs quote recently:

It’s not the tools that you have faith in — tools are just tools. They work, or they don’t work. It’s people you have faith in or not.

So true!

No tooling gives you faith in the adoption or improvement of any of the following:

• Data governance
• Data contracts
• Data privacy
• Data quality
• Data mesh

It’s always about how the tools support the people to make the right decisions for the best outcome for your organisation.

Have faith in people.
