It’s demotivating to work with poor data

·1 min

You try your best to work around the poor quality data you’re given.

Only to deliver a poor outcome to your users.

And that’s so demotivating.

So, why not try to do something different?

Why not pick a dataset you’re struggling with.

Map out its lineage from end-to-end

And speak to everyone involved about the problems you’re having.

And, more importantly, the problems that causes the business.

Those conversations are the first step to improving data quality at your organisation.

And you can do it no matter what level you are, or where you sit in the org chart.
