How Whatnot are using data contracts

A few months back Whatnot published a great post on how they are using data contracts.

The primary objective was to improve the consistency of their analytics events.

But my favourite outcome is this:

Most importantly, we have seen a huge amount of collaboration between event producers and event consumers.

A great result!

I also liked the way they have monitoring at various layers to observe the data quality.
