irrepressible.info is a campaign from Amnesty International which allows people to republish excerpts of censored sites on their websites. The idea is to undermine states such as China and Iran that are trying to censor and control free speech on the Internet.

To add the widget to your WordPress sidebar simply go to the Widgets admin page and add a new text widget. Then enter the following text into the widget:

Once you have saved the changes the widget will now be displayed in your side panel. The text will change on each page load with censored material from the irrepressible.info database.

A number of different widgets are also available from the irrepressible.info website and it also has a public API.
